What to wear to the Exclusion Zone?
You don't need any special outfit, footwear or security features. You just need to wear long-sleeved clothes (T-shirts, shorts and slippers are not appropriate).
Do I need any special security features?
Actually, no. But if you doubt, choose option "Chemical protection suit". It protects from radiation and makes your pics more exotic.
Do I need a dosimeter?
No, you don't. But you can use your devices for radiation measurement or rent one of ours by ticking option "Dosemeter".
What language the excursion is held in?
We provide excursions in English, Russian and Ukrainian. If a group is multilingual the excursion is held in the language most people speak in, the main poits of the excursion are translated into other languages. Anyway nobody will get bored - the Exclusion Zone is full of breathtaking places that are interesting to see and feel.
Can I book the excursion for tomorrow?
Yes. As an official parter we provide tours on a day-to-day basis and we can arrange the excursion even for tomorrow (in group or private).
We booked the group tour and were in total 13 or 14 people plus our guide. During our tour we saw big busses with 30+ people so I am pretty happy that we booked that tour. I think this group size is totally ok. The tour includes a lot of driving (from kiev to the exclusion zone and of course in the exclusion zone). Our mini-bus was very comfortable so that was no problem. We also booked the lunch which was a simple three course ukrainian meal (salad, soup, main, dessert). Totally adequate for the price and the circumstances (you are in an exclusion zone!!!).
Our tour guide was very nice, laughed a lot, showed us cool stuff, made sure we are safe and told us everything we wanted to know. Thank you Oxana!
All in all it was a crazy unique experience.
When I found Chernobyl Exclusive Tours, I was a little bit suspicious, as their prices were a full fifteen to twenty dollars cheaper than their competitors, even on a short notice tour, but I assure you that they’re legit and the tour was amazing. As soon as I booked the tour, I received information about it. A few days later, when I had a subsequent question about the tour, they answered me in literally five minutes via WhatsApp. I had an unforgettable experience with Chernobyl Exclusive Tours, and I recommend them to everyone!

Super visit, super Guide
A very nice day in a pretty scary destination. Radioactivity is not the problem : levels measured by our dosimeters are really not high, and lot of people work regularly in the area. The abandonned facilities, houses, theater, gymnasium are very impressive. The visit of the kindergarten is super sad, with everything in it place, one imagine easily all those children deflagrated. Lot of emotion there. Prays to all these people who suffered there and their souls, the firemen and other professionals who sacrificed their life for us. A really cheerful thank to Oksana for all her detailed explanation, attention, safety attitude, and happiness.
